Glos-Tone-Beret 2018
For this event I created a social media trail celebrating the fact it was the tenth year the event had been held with team members past and present sharing their thoughts on the festival.
In addition I created a looped promo graphic that could be bonverted into a gif for use on social media as well as being displayed in its original format on TV billboards around the University campuses and at the venue where the event was being held.

SRA Chart Show
Self-Shooting Editor
The SRA Chart show is a national show broadcast weekly by a different student radio station each week. When Tone Radio’s turn came in the 2016/17 and 2017/18 academic years I was enlisted to provide graphics and visual assets for the show.
When we hosted the show in 2018 in a bid to stand out from the crowd we opted to take a more tongue-in-cheek approach; as it is largely carried out in a very corporate way by most stations all trying to prove how professional and polished they can be. We however wanted to be different.
With that in mind I created a series of tongue in cheek videos for social media released in the build up to the show, as well as creating chart position graphics featuring child like drawings of the respective album cover art, which were in feedback highly commended by the Student Radio Association.

Event Coverage
Wychwood Festival
Shooter/ Editor
Wychwood Festival is a family orientated festival held annually at Cheltenham Racecourse. Each year Tone Radio provides a team of students to staff the festival radio Wychwood FM.
In my first year helping at the event I set out to capture a small amount of footage in a bit of a home video style that could be used by the team remember the event, but also be used on social media to show what we got up to. However one thing led to another and with about 5 minutes notice I found myself filming Mr Tumble and going on to produce a mini-series of short films documenting each day.
Over the next two years I progressively improved and increased the visual output from the event switching format to a package of shorter more social media friendly videos, experimenting with 360 video and introducing more produced content including a tribute to Dick and Dom, who were performing at the 2018 festival, in the form of a game of Bogies! which received a rave review from them when released on social media.

Glos-Tone-Beret
Shooter/ Editor
GTB Extra was a online series I produced single handedly for two consecutive years. It provided coverage of Tone Radio’s annual french themed fundraiser ‘Glos-Tone-Beret’ also known by its abbreviated name ‘GTB’.
For both years I operated with a multi-camera setup across both stages of the event, each comprising of a fleet of GoPros capturing various angles, a roaming camera operated by myself and fixed wide shot. The wide shot cameras recorded constantly for the whole night and was also used to record the audio feed direct from the sound desk, produce timelapses and provided to any performers that wished to review and/ or share their gig.
For any stats fans out there in the case of the 2018 event I captured 543gb of footage which I spent 90 hours editing in the space of two weeks into 39 bespoke videos.

Live Streaming
Tone Radio
OBS, Facebook Live, Periscope
Through my role at Tone Radio there were numerous occasions where I utilised live streaming. This included a live feed of the studio that was run through OBS and live streams from events such as the SU election results over social platform integrated software such as Facebook Live and Periscope.
