GoPro Omni

This video was filmed on the GoPro Omni in an extract taken from a recording of Dick and Dom’s full show at the festival. The Omni is the much higher capability of the two camaras, though the trade off is that in order to avoid stitching issues ‘subjects’ need to be kept some distance away from the camera; making it most suitable for big, wide stationary content. No points for guessing the two moments in this video where I was very relieved I’d had the initiative to hold onto the camera for this game.

Samsung Gear 360

These videos was filmed with the much more portable Samsung Gear 360. As this camera is physically smaller ‘subjects’ can be filmed much closer to the camera without causing issues with stitching. This allowed me to use it for filming interactive and small space content.
